Best book in the series up until now. Pacing is perfect, Herron prose is sharp, witty, does not allow even a moment of distraction. Lamb, his deus ex machina is one of the best characters I've had the pleasure of meeting in a novel in a long while. Off I go, looking for the next slough house novel. I don't think I'll stop until I've read all of them.
