Unexpectedly good. I feared this was the usual money-grab they often do to squeeze a few bucks from fans, but it was not.
It's written in dossier form, so do not expect a novel. It starts a bit slow and it's hard at first to understand where it is going (it begins at the times of the Lewis and Clark expedition!), but hold tight, it's well worth your time.
I loved the skillful blend of real (or pseudo-real) events with fiction, and it's so well done that it's often hard to see where one ends and the other begins.
Needles to say, this is for Twin Peaks fans only, but if you are, it's well worth your time and money.

--- Tiny spoiler ahead ---

If something bothered me about this book, is its purpose. It basically tries to retro-fit the UFO sightings lore into the Twin Peaks universe. That's all good and fun, but it remains unclear WHY this was necessary. In my opinion, it wasn't. Twin Peaks verges more on the metaphysic than the otherworldly, if you ask me.
