Multilayered, mysterious & delightful

I'm a big sucker for mysterious spaces and Piranesi delivers in spades. Characters are very interesting too, the story's theme resonates as well.

Very interesting start, reminiscent of Borges' "the library of Babel". Things soon take a different and down-to-earth direction though, which left me a little disappointed.
