I pretty much agree with Jenne: awesome idea, development and pace of the novel until the third part. Then a sudden roll back to the very disappointing Stephenson of Reamde: so many possible threads to explore and he chooses the good western hero vs the bad soviets cliché... in 2015?
Still it's probably the best Stephenson book since the Baroque cycle, hooray.

Being a nerd with 20 years of role playing and gaming behind me, I could nothing but enjoy reading this book. Even though the writing of fairly flat, it's really funny and time flies while you're at it. And btw, people, it's a scifi book! don't ask it to be thomas mann or something! :-)

Buon sequel, ovviamente Robecchi mi ha blandito con la citazione dell'Internazionale Precaria di sanprecariana memoria :)
Certo, lui rimane un inguaribile riformista... :)

La scrittura sapida di Robecchi (già amato su Cuore, Il Manifesto e Radio Pop) rende il libro piacevole. Chi ama Milano come me si ritroverà nelle sue descrizioni che non cessano di sottolineare la sottile vena romantica della città. E poi un libro in cui i nazisti d'accatto del nostro paese e quelli veri del passato (e del presente talvolta) vengono rappresentati per la merda e la nulla intelligenza che sono (anche se in un'epoca revisionista come questa non è detto che la cosa sia così scontata come sembra) non può che essere un must.
