I was expecting a fun rom com from the title, instead I got a very engaging and intese book and I loved it very much. The only part I had problems with are the internal dialogues that, given the fact that the book is in first person, i found redundant. I am not a fan of internal dialogues, unless it is a stream of consiousness.

The second part was a solid 4 and I loved how the author approached very difficult topics. Unfortunately the first part was very slow and only the fact that I have read and loved the first 2 books of the serie had me go on. I will read the next book.

I am so sorry I didn't like this one, I just couldn't finish and I can't even understand why. I love loretta chase's book because the love story is just part of a wider world, and this one is no different than the others, but I just couldn't finish it.
