Mole and Rat, having become fast friends, agree to join Toad in his latest adventure, traveling around the countryside in a caravan, but all that changes when Toad gets his first glimpse of an automobile. Presented in graphic novel form.
Such a joyful, picturesque little book.
Of its time, there are several offhanded sexist comments which I might omit if I were reading it to a child but it certainly doesn’t dominate the story.
