The Tough guide to fantasyland

It seems I'm not the target audience. Despite being a lifelong lover of fantasy, this didn't land. The humor is intentionally obvious and unintentionally tedious, consistently gripping the low-hanging fruit and avoiding everything else. This is for those seeking an easy read with the occasional chuckle. Those searching for a dissection of the genre with witty commentary (like myself) will surely be disappointed.
