Mutiny on the Bounty

Fourteen-year-old John Turnstile is on his way to prison when he gets a surprise offer: his freedom if he will serve as replacement for the injured valet of a captain whose ship is about to sail on an important mission. The ship is the HMS "Bounty", the captain is William Bligh, and their destination is Tahiti. The story paints a very different portrait of Bligh and the mutinous Fletcher Christian.
